Egg, Wheat Allergies? Winn-Dixie Recalls Mislabeled Snack Cakes

Grocery store may have mislabeled some of its snack cakes.

Winn-Dixie is recalling packaged snack cakes that may pose a risk for those with egg or wheat allergies and sensitivities.

Some of its store-brand lemon and chocolate cherry cakes and its cinnamon rolls may not have labeled egg or wheat information appropriately.

announced it is refunding customers, no questions asked. The Dunedin store is at 1296 County Road 1.

  • Winn-Dixie Lemon Bar. (It is identified on the package as “Bar Cake Lemon” and marked with a UPC code beginning 209983.)
  • Winn-Dixie Chocolate Cherry Bar. (It is identified on the package as “Bar Cake Choc Cherry" and marked with a UPC code beginning 209831.)
  • Winn-Dixie Bakery Iced Cinnamon Rolls — Six-Pack. (It is marked with a UPC code beginning 209806.)
