Five Things to Know Today

Here are Five Things to Know Today for Dunedin residents on Thursday, Oct. 20. Yes, the weekend is nearly here.

1) Weather: Fall has come to Dunedin. Well, at least for a couple of days. Per the National Weather Service, it will be in the mid-60s when you wake up and won't get much warmer, with a high of 71 expected. There is a chance of showers on and off which should disperse after 2 p.m. It will be windy with gusts of 21 mph. A low tonight should dip into the mid-50s.

2) Cheap gas: Per GasBuddy.com, early this morning the gas at Super Shop, 1000 Broadway, and St. George Gas Service, 2000 Bayshore Blvd., each had regular gas for $3.32 a gallon.

3) Help Wanted: Need a part-time job to suppliment your income or are you beteen jobs and the money is starting to get really tight? Well, . The new restaurant will be located at the old KFC location at Countryside Mall, 2537 Countryside Blvd. Applications are accepted from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. 4) North Pinellas Pride continues: This week has been a week of celebration known as North Pinellas Pride Week. The festivities, which include many events in Dunedin, continues tonight with bowling night out at Dunedin Lanes, 405 Patricia Ave. The fun begins at 10 p.m. and lasts through 2 p.m. For $10, bowlers can bowl unlimited and the deal includes shoe rental. 5) Girls Night Out: , 730 Broadway, will feature a night just for the ladies tonight. Beginning at 6 p.m.,  the cafe will offer all sorts of events including pottery. A free glass of wine, snacks and door prizes will be offered. Ladies who attend are encouraged to BYOB if so desired.
