2012 After Election View!

We are United, not Divided!

I like to express my views regarding 2012 Election results, now whether we like it or not, we have to accept the fact President Obama got 4 more years with no change in House & Senate!

So in light of this, we all need to come to an understanding about negative posts, disregard for respect, name calling from either side is counter productive & it does nothing to change the way things are plus it shows the middle eastern countries how divided we all are which is not good especially for those who hate us & this makes all of us an easy target, I say lets unite for the good of our nation, please realize there is safety in numbers, a strong nation like ours will make our enemies weak & less likely to take advantage of us!

Now the way I see it Government is there to provide us protection with reasonable implemention of laws so that we are safe & not in harms way as for the economy there needs to be a middle point, we need to let our elected officials know we are tired of being divided, a strong Government Leadership that works together with balance from both sides is in our best interest, this can be done folks, let's make our voices heard through out all media, best way is through a petition http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/we-are-united-not-divided/ please give this a chance, I am positive we can make this work, thank you!

Well said Dee, actually though there are now twenty women that will be serving in the Senate. This is historic and well over due. We now have five openly gay house members, one bi-sexual and a new openly gay Senator. Diversity is good and is more representative of our country as a whole. Thanks for your link to ipetitions, however, don't forget to remain engaged and involved in the tedious process of governance by calling, writing or visiting your own representative's offices on a consistant basis and let them know of the issues most important to you. It is imperative that we hold our representative accountable to us, not only during election time, but also while they are governing. Remember, they don't work solely for the special interests, political parties and corporations, they work for the common good of all the people they were elected to represent.
