4 Dunedin Doggies Need Help

No matter what Dunedin Doggie Rescue does, there are always some dogs out there that cannot find the right fit for them. We have had some dogs for such a long time that we wanted to show them to you again in hopes of someone being interested.

Each one of these dogs have been with the rescue for more than six months (some up to a year) and we want nothing more than for someone to take them into their home and show them that someone really does want them. 

Timur, Snoopy, Ella Bella and Jodi have all been a Dunedin Patch Adoptable Dog of the Week before; however, they still have not found the person who'll take them into their homes forever.

is a 60-pound neutered Walker Coonhound. He is house trained, loves to play (he still has some puppy in him) and LOVES to eat! Timur needs someone that is active and will be active with him. He is a lovable boy with a lot of energy. He just wants the chance to show someone his wonderful personality. Timur was just left in the box at the animal shelter.

is an American bulldog-Mastiff mix, and is about 60 pounds. She is around 1 year old, and is still active. She is a sweet loveable girl, spayed, leash trained and housebroken. Many people will look at her breed and be scared, but if you give her the chance and meet her, you will find there is nothing to be scared of. Ella was found as a stray running around Dunedin.

is a bearded collie/terrier mix that is about 55 pounds and around 5 years old. Snoopy has the eyes that will look at you and all you see is love. She has the most incredible big brown eyes that an animal lover would just fall for. She loves to play ball and then lay back and relax with her owners. Snoopy is set in her ways, and just wants to be loved. Snoopy was surrendered to the shelter by her owner because his future wife didn’t want a dog.

is an Australian Kelpie-Shepherd Mix that is about 50 pounds. Jodi is housebroken, active, loves people and does great with cats. But she does not like other dogs so much. She is doing so much better in our rescue. We have socialized her, but something traumatic happened to her that we just cannot fix. Being in the rescue, one never knows what the dogs go through, she might have had to fend for herself and fight off the dogs, or she could have been attacked and feels that she needs to show she will not go through that again. Jodi wants to play and cuddle. She was on her last day of life at a kill shelter when she was rescued.
