Five Things to Do on New Year's Eve

Dunedin and other Pinellas towns have plenty of events planned for Saturday.

Looking for something to do on New Year's Eve? Here are five ways to ring in the new year in Pinellas County:

1. Treat yourself to . There will be two-hour seatings throughout the night, with a champagne toast at midnight. The five-course dinner is $75. Reservations and formal attire are required.

2. Join the for dinner and dancing. Sam McClellen will provide music, and there will be a champagne toast and continental breakfast at midnight. Dinner is at 8 p.m., and dancing begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance.

3. If you would rather skip dinner and go straight to the dancing, head to . Blur is teaming up with Kelly's Chic-a-Boom Room for a night of entertainment from The Black Honkeys and DJ Gus, with a champagne toast and balloon drop with prizes at midnight. The party starts at 8 p.m., and admission is $15. Reservations are requested.

4. Casa Tina will host . In addition, there will be dinner specials, party favors and champagne at midnight. Admission is $10, and reservations are requested. The party starts at 8 p.m.

5. For daytime fun, catch the  in Largo. Show up at 1 p.m. to enter your dog ($5 registration fee), or arrive at 2 p.m. to watch the parade. There will be prizes for best costumed, best sit and stay on command, best trick, best smile, most handsome boy and prettiest girl.
