Jason Paul Vigil Begins Healing for Neighbors of Victim
After the death of Dunedin High grad Jason Paul, family members, friends and neighbors gathered in Crest Lake Park to remember and move forward.
A bagpipe solo and candles illuminating a path inside Crest Lake Park on Feb. 23 honored the life of stabbing victim Jason Paul.
The candlelight vigil, which featured a Dunedin High bagpiper, is part to show support for the family and for Crest Lake Park, said JoAnna Siskin, president of the Skycrest Neighborhood Association.
Paul, a 2008 Dunedin High grad, was bicycling home from work and a quick stop at the store shortly before he stabbed near Crest Lake Park in Clearwater on Jan. 6.

Clearwater Police still are looking for a suspect, motive and weapon.
More events are being planned to bring a more positive energy to the park, she said. Some of those events include a spoken word night, chalk art night and doggy date night.
