A new "limitless" playground, accessible to handicapped people of all ages, is nearing completion at .
"Playground should be open in a couple of weeks!" the City of Dunedin posted Wednesday on its Facebook page, along with some photos.
Volunteer organization Friends of the Island Parks helped raise $120,000 for the project, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
The new playground, which replaces an old one more than 10 years old, will have chimes, bongo drums, swings that can secure the handicapped and a spongy flooring similar to a running track, the Times reports.
Organizers told the newspaper the playground will be easier to navigate for handicapped children, as well as disabled parents and grandparents.
