Hobbyist Bill Welch shot this unusual video of the Dunedin Marina and Bon Appetit Restaurant. The video offers a crystal clear and rare aerial view of a couple of Dunedin landmarks.
Welch used his personal drone – or quadcopter – equipped with a camera to make the video. It is so clear, linking to GPS satellites to fly on a steady path. Welch operates a remote control device from the ground.
His aerial videos are so compelling that Welch has been enlisted to do commercial work.
