Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall to Pass Through Dunedin

The scale model of the Washington, DC, monument is traveling around Pinellas County via motorcade Thursday on its way to two Clearwater events.

The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall is coming to Pinellas County.

The Tampa Bay Veterans Alliance is bringing the 6-foot-tall scale model of the Washington, DC, monument to Dunedin and four other cities on Thursday, Nov. 1.

The memorial will travel by motorcade with an escort from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, more than 100 veteran bikers and several military bikers, organizers said. The motorcade will pass several local schools — including Dunedin Elementary, Dunedin Highland Middle and Dunedin High schools and Academie Da Vinci Charter — along with other government buildings, businesses and neighborhoods.
