22nd Dunedin Wines the Blues

Join thousands of

Blues Lovers as we celebrate the 22nd Dunedin Wines the Blues Festival brought to you by the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association, the City of Dunedin Community Redevelopment Agency, Great Bay Distributing, Premier Beverage Company, Beso del Sol Resort, Coastal Properties Group, Toronto Blue Jays, Dunedin Fine Arts Center, Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, JB Edwards Promotional Marketing Group, T & M Restrooms, House of Carts, Creative Business Solutions, CMJ Productions, Salon GW, Awaken Organic Skincare, Decker Ross Interiors, Hair Cuttery, Gulf Coast Party Rental, Sea Dog Brewing Company, The Tampa Bay Times, Destination Publications and the Dunedin Beacon, Friday November 8th and Saturday November 9th, 2013.

This fantastic 2 day event starts with a kick-off party on Friday in Pioneer Park from 5:30-9:30PM with live entertainment sponsored by The Suncoast Blues Society, featuring a smoking hot Blues Jam on the Pioneer Park Stage (invited jammers only) with a wine and beer tent in Pioneer Park (corner of Main St. & Douglas Ave.).
Saturday, November 9th, the Giant street party on Main Street from Louden to Broadway starts at 5pm and rocks till 11pm.
5:00PM-The Pioneer Park Stage will be opening with Florida’s own TC Carr and the All Star Bolts.

7:00PM- Another highly acclaimed Florida band, Lauren Mitchell Band. The Lauren Mitchell Band recently won the Sun Coast Blues Society Regional Blues Challenge and is headed to Memphis for the International Blues Challenge.

9:00PM- Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers - He's one of the few blues guitarists who learned first hand from the masters of the blues, not off a blues record or DVD. Though most associate Jimmy with his 15 years as the co-founder of the Nighthawks, he ended his time with them in 1987. Since then, Jimmy has been on the road as a solo musician for 15 years doing nearly 300 shows a year proving each night that he is still the guitar powerhouse in the blues.

Local merchants will
provide food and wine offered. Tents with art, craft displays, vendors, special wine promotions and much, much more awaits you. Don’t miss it!
