6th Annual Cut Cancer Out Weekend at Cricketers Pub

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4th – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6th

All proceeds benefit the Children's Cancer Center of Tampa and The Morton Plant Mease Foundation’s Mammogram Voucher Program. Hair donations will be sent to Locks of Love and The Angel Hair Foundation.

NO ENTRY FEE!

The fun starts Friday at 5PM. Complimentary hair cuts will be given by Salon de Andrade to those who wish to donate 10 inches of hair or more. Ponytails will then be sent to the charities Locks of Love and the Angel Hair Foundation. All hair donors will receive a ribbon peelie, 5 raffle tickets, and a Cut Cancer Out koozie. GNF Rocks will be performing from 6-7 and at 8PM Hope Darling will be playing live outside under the big tent.

Saturday is our Dunk Tank Contest. The dunk tank will be there all weekend, but on Saturday we have a kids and adult dunk tank contest. Winners receive prizes! Entry fees apply. Scotty & The Treble Hooks will start performing outside at 3PM and play 'til 7PM and 8PM Eccentric will perform outside 'til midnight.

Sunday everyone is invited to join us in a Dunedin Causeway walk. The walk will start at 5:00PM. A $30 sign up fee for the walk comes with a ribbon peelie, 5 raffle tickets and a Cut Cancer Out koozie. Music starts at 2PM with Porch Full Of Idiots and the band Full Fledged Unit will be at 7PM outside until 11PM.

There will be FREE first come first serve face painting outside on all three days.

This year, we are starting a new trend…”Hope Trees”. Ace Hardware in Odessa, FL is donating two trees, a Magnolia and a Crepe Myrtle. These trees will be displayed at the event, and will be adorned with wishes from people who want to send a message to those who have struggled with or lost to cancer. The trees will then be donated to the city of Dunedin, to be planted somewhere in the community. We hope they’re growth and stability will stand as a sign of the world’s determined fight against cancer.

Starting now, we will be selling raffle tickets. Prize drawings will be held on October 11th (you do not need to be present to win). Prizes to be announced. Tickets are $5 a piece. There will also be a silent auction for some of the larger prizes. Auction will run all three days and winners will be notified the following week.
