The Dunedin Community Chorus, the "Chorus with a Heart," kicks off its 2013 season with the ever-popular crowd pleaser "The Footlite Follies Revue."

This program contains music from "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Sound of Music," "West Side Story" and "The Music Man," among others.

Containing many old favorites, this musical extravaganza also showcases some of the great talent of which the chorus is extremely proud.

  • Charles Miller, teacher, singer and composer/arranger, is directing his own composition called "Summer Breezes Blow."

  • Pat McDermott adds his own brand of humor with "Cellophane Man" from "Chicago."

  • Jeff Fuller lends his talent to the production with "Old Man River" from "Showboat."

  • Melanie McWilliams and Betty Dethmers are piano accompanists.

  • Dennis Pavluk is on percussion and Max Bygrave is on trumpet.

  • Elizabeth White is a featured artist on flute.

The concert is produced and directed by Jan O'Connor/Sharkey and Don Jones.

Come early to avoid the crowds and enjoy this afternoon of great entertainment.  Free will offering.
