Scotty Lee has been called one of Florida's prolific songwriters by resident host D.J. Pete Gallagher of the Florida FOLK SHOW on WMNF 88.5 fm community radio. He is charged with a dedication to the preservation of the Sunshine States fishing heritage and natural environment. If you've heard music described as Americana, then it would be right to say they've struck a chord with a brand called Floricana. With song titles like "Shark Fishing At The Skyway Bridge" about the florida folklore tale of the giant hammerhead shark called "Old Hitler"; and "She's A Weeki Wachee Mermaid" about the little river in Hernando county the Seminole Indians named; Scotty Lee will take you on melodic journey into the soul of the great land we all love and the spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon gold coined Florida; "Feast of Flowers". The band also plays eclectic covers from the Allman Brothers to Neil Young along with traditional style blues, folk, country, and rock with a southern roman candle flare....
