Urban Permaculture Design Certificate Course

This is the internationally recognized Permaculture Design
Certification course, based on the founder of permaculture, Bill Mollison’s work. Permaculture design offers regenerative techniques, tools, and design principles to enable you to live abundantly while caring for the environment and the people around you. Working with nature allows you to grow food with less work and expense, create stronger economic networks, and increase your overall quality of life, while using up fewer resources and creating less pollution.

The spring 2014 course is our 11th Permaculture Design course and is the most comprehensive and intensive line up we’ve offered with expanded materials, videos, study aides and more. Expert speakers, field trips, hands on activities (that give you step by step real skill sets), great networking, well-organized written materials, and design tools are the result of close observation and extensive experience with the systems we are teaching about, feedback from dozens of students from previous courses, and thorough and in depth study of the best and most updated information out there on the subject. We have spent thousands of hours digesting information and have distilled it so that you do not have to do so.

Systems (whether homes, work places, gardens, farms, communities, local economies, or cities) that are designed with permaculture principles and techniques use resources in a regenerative way, ensuring that we, our children and our grandchildren will continue to have access to the resources they need. Be the change you would like to see, by designing that change!
