Clearwater Women's Club Luncheon for "Women on the Way" program

Clearwater Women’s Club also supports “Women on the Way”, a program sponsored by St. Petersburg College.   The project helps worthy young women train for careers through scholarship aid.  The annual “high tea and luncheon” to be held on February 19, 2011 at the Belleair Country Club, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. will help support “Women on the Way” with 100% of the profits going to the scholarship program.  Because of the success of last year’s tea, three young women received scholarships, 2 planning on education degrees and one in nuclear science.   The luncheon is open to the public; advance tickets are $30.00 which includes the luncheon, a fashion show and door prizes. The fashion show will feature beach wear, cruise wear and casual clothes from “Sun and Fun Beachwear”.  Also available are dozens of gift baskets to be raffled that include spa items, gift certificates from restaurants and stores, items for the home and much more!
