The generosity of a local dental practice will make it easier for local school children to start the school year on a positive note. Now in its fourth year, the event sponsored by Dunedin Family Dentistry has helped hundreds of local families ease in to the start of a new school year with backpacks stuffed with basic school supplies.

The giveaway will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Dunedin Family Dentistry practice located at 2213 Curlew Road in Dunedin. The building is on the south side of Curlew, just east of Belcher Road. Backpacks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until 1:00 p.m., or all the backpacks are gone.
