1) Need a cheap fill up? The gas prices are dipping slightly in Dunedin. The lowest reported on TampaGasPrices.com is $3.51 (cash, regular) at the , 1001 Broadway.  

2) City officials OK'd earmarking funds for a preservation plan for scenic Edgewater Drive last week. City leaders liked the and approved that the plan be added to the list of projects to receive funding from the Capital Improvement Budget. The plan seeks to over the next several years. Specific improvement projects will have to go before the commission for funding approval.

3) Got plans for Mothers Day? Why not make it a mother-daughter or mother-son day at the I Love Mothers Day 5K and Kid Half Mile on Sunday at John Chestnut Park in Palm Harbor. Organizers are offering registration discounts for families. Register online here

4) PSTA is offering unlimited transportation passes all summer for kids 18 and under for just $35. The passes are on sale now. You can purchase the Kids Haul Pass online or in person at any PSTA ticket outlet.

5) Ride a motorcycle? Just a reminder from the Florida Highway Patrol that state law requires motorcycle drivers to wear helmets (for riders 20 and younger and those who are uninsured) and eye protection (a windscreen doesn't count), and have foot pegs for passengers.
