How can you tell if your child is using drugs?

This is a question an area parent task force hopes to answer during a presentation for north Pinellas parents on Friday.

The Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education task force, or N.O.P.E., works with local law enforcement to educate people about drug use. The group recently held a for those who’ve died from drug- or alcohol-related overdoses and to recognize those who struggle with addiction.

The N.O.P.E. parents in Tarpon Springs' conference titled “Say NO to Drugs” offers guidance to parents on the warning signs of teenage drug use, what to do if you suspect your child is taking drugs and helpful resources.
