MailChimp.com is a GREAT, easy-to-use email marketing solution that’s free for small businesses (and anyone with a business email address) to send a limited number of emails per month for free.  To use the free plan, you just have to meet these conditions: fewer than 2,000 subscribers and up to 12,000 emails per month is absolutely free. Use HootSuite FREE Edition for Promoting Your Small Business Saturday Event

HootSuite is an excellent solution for small and large businesses to manage all of their social media profiles in one place.  You can schedule out your promotional message, respond to fans, and listen for opportunities to talk to and reach potential customers.  The free edition of HootSuite allows you to add up to 5 social media profiles for one user.  If you need to add more profiles or have additional employees help manage your accounts, you may want to consider upgrading to HootSuite Pro.  It’s reasonably priced starting at just under $10/month and includes 50 social profiles and two team users. Try Google AdWords to Reach Local Shoppers

Look for a Google Partner – certified by Google via training, exams, and demonstration of adherence to best practices – to help you leverage the power of Google Search and Display to reach local shoppers for Small Business Saturday.  With Google AdWords, you can target down to a city radius or zip code.  A certified Google Partner typically has access to $100 - $300 credits for new advertisers, and they will be able to help you maximize your return on advertising investment.
