Adoptable Doggie of the Week: Snoopy

Snoopy is hoping to find someone that loves her inside and out

This is Snoopy, a female Bearded Collie/Terrier mix that is about 55 pounds and five-years old.  Snoopy had been adopted, but was taken to the shelter because her owner got married and the wife did not want a dog.  I think that is crazy, it should be a package deal!

Snoopy is a sweet girl, and has the most incredible big brown eyes.  She absolutely loves to play ball, and will do it for hours.  She doesn’t expect her owner to run around, as long as they are throwing the ball, she is happy.  After she plays fetch for a while, she just likes to lay back and relax with her owners. She also loves to go for car rides or any adventure that someone wants to take her on.

Snoopy has lived with both dogs and does well with them after she gets to know them.  She does have that bull-headedness where she wants to try to be boss, but will take commands well.  She knows how to sit, and is housebroken.  She is working on her leash behavior.  She just gets so excited to get out in the public that she wants to get there fast.

Most people look at Snoopy and are not attracted by her beauty, but I must say, her inner beauty is incredible.  You can see the happiness in her when she greats you.  Snoopy is a warm and loving companion, and all she wants to do is appreciate, and love her human in hopes of getting the same in return.

If you would like to adopt Snoopy and you live in Dunedin, fill out an adoption form.
