Fairies, Food and Great Finds

That's what's waiting for you this weekend in Dunedin.

It’s that time again – time to make plans for the weekend. Here are some interesting ideas to help you out.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY: If you’re in the mood for a night of great music and great beer in a great atmosphere, you’ll find all this and more at the , Florida’s oldest microbrewery. Nawlins-style funk-blues-jazz band Swamp Logic returns to the Dunedin Brewery Friday at 9 p.m. Saturday night, you can catch FME & Trenchfoot Shindig at 9 p.m. Call 727-736-4945.

SATURDAY: Come see what treasures you can find at the craft fair and community garage sale from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event is at . The Spring Sale-abration is the place to find tools, jewelry, books, clothes, glassware, children’s items, furniture, antiques, toys, boating and marine items, photography, arts, crafts and more. SATURDAY: Later in the day, come out and enjoy the rescheduled . Last month the event was rained out, but that’s not likely to happen again. The formal ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., however the festivities start a little earlier at 4. There’ll be food, entertainment, arts and crafts demonstrations and displays, and a whole lot of fun. Guests are encouraged to arrive by foot, bike or Jolley Trolley since parking space is very limited. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Fairies, Inc. presents an enchanting tale in dance, cirque and bafoonery, 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at the . The show promises to be a delightful romp in Fairyland complete with charming characters performing amazing acts of contortion, acrobatics, aerial acts, dance and song. General admission tickets are $15; other ticket options are available.

SUNDAY: Enjoy late afternoon fun and help support a worthy cause at . , from 3 to 7 p.m., features barbecue, beer specials, plant giveaways, a 50/50 raffle and live funk, folk, bluegrass and gypsy jazz music.
