Hello from your 'New' Largo Patch Editor

An introduction from Melissa Lattman your semi-new editor.

Dear Patch Readers,

I am excited to officially introduce myself as your Largo Patch editor. I have had the privilege of covering Largo for several months and I am very excited about now being your full-time editor.

I look forward to continuing to cover the community with stories that matter to you such as neighborhood crime, community development, small business and animals.

Patch is here to serve the community. Your voice matters! If you would like you can add announcements, events, , blogs, and comments on the site. You can also reach us on Facebook and Twitter.

You may want to know a little bit about . I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. My path to writing and photography has included journeys as a computer service provider, teacher, baker, and cotton swab maker.

My journalism career began in 2006. I have covered communities in New Hampshire and around Pinellas County.

When I am not working, you may find me watching a Tampa Bay Rays or Tampa Bay Lightning game. Plus when possible, I walk on the beach or enjoy nature in Largo's wonderful parks.

Please feel free to contact me at melissa.lattman@patch.com with comments, questions and story ideas. You can also call me at 727-424-7918.
