Osprey Killed

Dear Person Flying your Kite in Dunedin along Bayshore Blvd,

You left a heck of a mess. We had one osprey chick entangled and hanging upside down the other day and more kite string was found on another property and killed a very healthy adult osprey today. It broke both of the ospreys wings. Here's the thing.... This was your mess to clean up. Not mine. You were irresponsible and trashed the environment and you should be held directly responsible for the rehabilitative costs of the young bird that got hung up and should be fined a minimum of $3200 for the death of the adult bird. Your kite string was wrapped around trees on 2 large properties and spanned 425 feet. You cut the line and walked away instead of committing yourself to fixing the problem. Besides the suffering the bird did when it hung and struggled you caused us a lot of pain too. I'm thinking punitive damages here.
