Community Update

I have been going to this pinch a penny for years and Never have I been treated with such disrespect and in such a disgusting matter by such DISHONEST men!!! First as I was getting 4 gallons of chlorine for my pool after bringing back 4 gallons. I told the person filling the chlorine jugs “Fernando” that there was some chlorine on top of one of the jugs he had put on my cart and could I please have a paper towel to wipe it off as this has happened BEFORE and I did not want to ruin my new jeans! He refused stating it was not chlorine that it was just water. Then he states I will put it in the car for you. As I am paying I ask the owner Alex who is working at the register for some paper towel to since it looked like there was chlorine on the jug. Fernando walked in after putting the jugs in my trunk and he states that he put it on the plastic that was in my trunk for the chlorine.

When I got home, not even a mile away from this place, I find that there is chlorine EVERYWHERE!!! Seriously all over my trunk on my beach chairs I mean Everywhere! Fernando Put the jug that had a chlorine puddle on the top, on it side on one of the beach chairs that were behind the plastic. He pulled some of the plastic onto one of my beach chairs laying the plastic on top. Then put the chlorine jug with the puddle of chlorine just sitting on the top, outside of jug, on it side so that the chlorine could run down the side getting all over my trunk!!! The chlorine that had been sitting on the top had literally went from one side to the other side of my trunk. I was so upset I tried to take out the chlorine jugs and like always the lids were NOT fastened on tight... But instead loose! BLEACHING my brand NEW jeans I had bought the day before! This had happened once before but the last time this happened I was wearing old pants so I did not care but this time I went straight back up to that pinch a penny.

I went inside and stated “Are you the manager or owner? Alex responded yes. I told him what had happened and took him to see my car trunk. Fernando followed us out. When I stated what all had happened, the owner stated it was my fault because they could have bumped around and got the lids loose like that... Then I told Alex the owner what I had said to Fernando and what had happened when I tried to tell him that there was chlorine on top of the jug while they were both standing in front of me. Fernando then lied and told Alex the owner that there was never any chlorine. Alex then dismissed my claim and said that they NEVER have loose caps and that I was not telling the truth... That there was no puddle of chlorine on top of the jug.

At this point I was about to cry!! 2 grown men LYING and NOT taking responsibility for their actions. The worst part was the owner agreeing with an employee who was lying and who was treating a costumer with disrespect... When I showed the owner what the chlorine had done to my pants he stated he would do NOTHING as compensation. If you want to be treated with disrespect in a disgusting way by dishonest people then this is the place you would go. If you want honesty and loyalty go else where because these guys could care less about you and your family.
