Dunedin Man Charged in Undercover Narcotics Investigation

On Dec. 18, Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man whom they allege to have sold marijuana from his Dunedin home in June during the course of an undercover narcotics investigation.

A Dunedin man was arrested and slapped with felony charges for selling drugs in June, according to authorities.

George Franklin Hauk Jr, 22, of 2205 Stacy Court, allegedly sold 56 cumulative grams of marijuana on three separate occasions during the course of an undercover narcotics investigation, Pinellas County Sheriff's records say.

County arrest records indicate that Hauk sold:

  • 28 grams of marijuana for $370 on June 6 at his home,
  • 14 grams of marijuana for $180 on June 14 at his home, and
  • 14 grams of marijuana for $190 on June 27 near the corner of Wilshire Drive and Palmetto Court.

Investigators used department money to buy the marijuana, according to arrest records.

Hauk was arrested and charged with three counts of felony sale of marijuana, as well as three counts of misdemeanor possession of marijuana Dec. 18. He was released on a more than $15,000 surety bond on Dec. 19.
