Dunedin Man Wanted in Robbery

Clearwater police arrested two suspects involved in a robbery and are looking a third suspect, 19-year-old Chase Matthew Brown of Dunedin.

Clearwater detectives arrested two suspects involved in the robbery and beating of Steven A. Carrigan of Tarpon Springs. They are looking a third suspect, 19-year-old Chase Matthew Brown of Dunedin. 

Detectives say that Melody Michelle Sanders lured Carrigan, 20, to the 2600 block of Seville Boulevard on July 26. He was then battered by 18-year-old Timothy Hugh Miller and Brown. They stole his pants, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.

According to detectives, Carrigan met Sanders, 20, while in jail. They decided to hang out once they were released, authorities said.

On July 26, Carrigan met up with Sanders and a female witness whose name is not being released.

Carrigan suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

Detectives identified the suspects involved and arrested Sanders and Miller. Brown is still at large. He is wanted for robbery.
