Man Killed in Shooting at Union Street Duplex

Justin Blake Cleveland, 18, died late Thursday in an apparent homicide in Dunedin. Suspect Michael Parker was arrested on manslaughter charges on Friday, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's.

UPDATE: 2:37 p.m.: The victim is identified as Justin Blake Cleveland, 18. The suspect is identified as Michael Parker, 17. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office announced that Parker was arrested on charges of manslaughter.

UPDATE 1:31 p.m.: Detectives searched for less than two hours in Pasco County for the gun used in the shooting. They have retreived a weapon from Lake Conley, which is in a residential area off of U.S. Highway 19 in Holiday.

An 18-year-old man was shot and killed at a duplex on Union Street late Wednesday, Pinellas County sheriff's deputies report.

A suspect was apprehended this morning on Estancia Boulevard in Clearwater, and two witnesses are being interviewed, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Cecilia Barreda. 

The Sheriff's Office has not yet released the name of the victim or the suspect.

Deputies are searching for the weapon used in the shooting. They believe it may have been dropped in a waterway in Pasco County near Darlington Road and Baden Drive (west of U.S. 19), according to Barreda. 

Homicide detectives are on the scene in Dunedin.

It is unclear whether the shooting occurred inside or outside the duplex.

Sheriff Bob Gualtieri is slated to release details about the shooting during a news conference in Largo at 2 p.m.
