So all this BS about Dunedin being safer...HA! Southside in the crapper!
Karen Burton May 21, 2013 at 03:48 PM
This map doesn't seem right at all. esp. for the Southside. What is going on here? It can't drop that dramatically so quickly.
Stacy Rush May 21, 2013 at 11:31 PM
It is not factual. We that live on Southside know the truth.
Karen Burton May 22, 2013 at 03:34 PM
How can they do this to us in good conscience?
Stacy Rush May 23, 2013 at 09:10 PM
if they do not make arrest no crime? Here is a question for residence of south side Dunedin!!! See if "Dunedin Patch" will run with it. How many people on South Side Dunedin Know the name of Sheriff Department Community Officer" If so name him and describe him. How often does he stop and talk to you? LETS SEE HOW MANY REAL PEOPLE WILL TELL.

Here is a challenge for all Patch Readers. "Can you name and physically describe your "Sheriff Department Community Officer"? Lets see how many can name Deputy and describe physical features? How many have spoken to Deputy in last 3 months? Bet not many can name Deputy much less honestly admit they have spoken to Deputy.

Well I can tell you there have been several arrests on our street for Domestic and for some reason they are not showing on this map,,, really the truth needs to be reported, crime is not down its just not being reported correctly.... When will they get it we live here we are not going away the more they avoid and try to tell us a line of bs... the louder we are going to become, and SELECTIVE enforcement by the community officer will not be tolerated at all
Stacy Rush May 24, 2013 at 01:37 AM
May be time for city to have public meeting like in November to remind someone tax payers and voters are not happy with lack of action. Get out of cars! Come sit on porches! Hung up phone while driving down road. Your way is not working try ours. See what we see. We bet you will not.
Karen Burton May 24, 2013 at 11:14 PM
Where is the oversight? Who sets the standards for codes of conduct on making arrests? Also, last night there was a helicopter flying around at 2:00 AM. Were they looking for someone? Shouldn't we be notified when there is a dangerous situation? It wasn't on Active Calls either. A lot of stuff that happens when you go to check it, is not reported.

JESUS CAME TO SAVE THE SINNERS NOT THE SELF RIGHTEOUS. I PRAY HE WILL ALSO SAVE YOUR SON TOO!

How come it is selective enforcement when it comes to you? Do you not have to obey the law like everyone else? If you are giving a warning and continue to act like you do not have to comply then you get what you deserve just like anyone else.
Amy May 26, 2013 at 12:11 AM
There were several other neighbors who had the same situation as we did they were not handled the same way as we were, these neighbors continue ti do the sme thing yet we were singled out, which is not right. Thats all I an saying either you enforce all or none
KELLIE W May 26, 2013 at 11:28 AM
I live a few streets over. I received a ticket from the city. They gave me a warning I did not comply with the request and I was given a ticket. It was not selective enforcement. Take responsibility for your ticket and move on. Don't worry about what your neighbors get and don't get. Worry about you. You are a grown woman not a child. Move on.

More then half of the people on this page rent. The beauty of renting is that if you don't like where you live you can pick up and move. Now before you say you have a right to live where you want, so does everyone else. If your neighborhood is as bad as you say then just for my safety reasons I would be loading up the wagon and getting the heck out of dodge. Listen I live a few streets over and I have seen some pretty crazy things here too but I bought my home and just can't pick up and go. ( I bought it not my mom). Just tell your landlords you are leaving and be gone.
Stacy Rush June 01, 2013 at 03:12 AM
Justin I own more than one home in area. I am not a renter. I like you pay taxes and own a property. Nice try (AH) of Palm Harbor.
PATRICIA M June 01, 2013 at 10:15 AM
Justin is referring to renters in is comment and people who bought their own with mommy's help. So not sue if he was speaking of you.
