Police Hunt for Clues in Shooting of Dunedin Teen

Clearwater Police are looking for a suspect and the possible crime scene in the recent shooting of a Dunedin teenager.

Clearwater Police are not only looking for a suspect in a recent shooting, they also are still trying to find where the possible crime occurred.

"There was no evidence of a crime scene where (the victim) said it occurred," said Elizabeth Watts, police spokeswoman. "We believe it occurred elsewhere and are still working to determine exactly how it happened."

A 16-year-old, black male from Dunedin was found with non-life threatening injuries from a gun shot wound around 10:25 p.m. Oct. 21 at a house near Minnesota Drive and Fairmont Avenue, which is near Pinellas Trail in north Clearwater.
