Detectives: Dunedin Man Pawns Stolen Goods

Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives believe that Teddy Allen Palinkas pawned a cordless drill and an air compressor that belonged to someone else on Friday in Dunedin. He faces felony charges.

A Dunedin man is accused of pawning $80 worth of stolen items at Southern Pawn on Friday, according to Pinellas County arrest records.

Authorities believe that Teddy Allen Palinkas, 26, of Cedarwood Avenue, took a stolen battery-operated, cordless drill with two batteries, a battery charger and a flashlight accessory and a three-gallon air compressor to the Main Street pawn and jewelry shop shortly after 4 p.m. May 17, according to arrest records.

Palinkas, who is unemployed, received $30 for the cordless drill and accessories and $50 for the air compressor, Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives reported in arrest records.
