Shooter in Apparent Murder-Suicide Left Several Notes

“In them she wrote of her personal and financial problems,” said Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Marianne Pasha.

Since the shooting is an open investigation detectives are not releasing more details on the notes, Pasha said.

Foster’s daughter Kassidie Rae McMillin died Saturday morning (May 14).

According to detectives, Kassidie suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound by her mother .

Kassidie was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center for life threatening injuries after the shooting. She underwent surgery and was transported to All Chldren's Hospital.

Officials said she died late Saturday morning after being taken off life support by her biological father.

According to records Foster had a criminal past ranging from fraud to drug related charges. Foster was scheduled to appear in court on fraud charges on May 23.

The charges stem from her two and a half years as an office manager at TSI, a commercial air conditioning company. She was in charge of setting up accounts and processing company credit card information.

On Jan. 6 Foster was arrested for fraudulent use of her company credit card, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman said.

Foster, who at the time went by her maiden name, Tina Marie Arthur, was found to have used the company credit card to purchase $3,000 worth of fuel for her personal vehicle and transferred $1,800 to her own credit card.

She was also arrested on charges of trafficking hydrocodone in October 2010.

Court records show that Tina Marie Foster was married to Derrick Elliot McMillin, 36, in August 2000. The couple filed for divorce in June 2008. Records show Foster last filed for retroactive child support in June 2010.

The shooting happened in the Foster home in Windemere Apartments at the 1700 block on Main Street.

Foster's husband William Foster, who is Kassidie’s stepfather, found them both shot. Deputies arrived around 10:41 p.m. Thursday (May 12) and pronounced Foster dead.

Foster would have turned 40 years old Friday (May 13) the day after the shooting.

Her daughter Kassidie was a student at .

Detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
