Student Helps Save Tourist Who Collapsed Downtown
Max Kitchener, a Dunedin High junior who learned CPR in class, was at work at Olde Bay Cafe when he heard calls for help.
A Dunedin High School junior's CPR skills helped save a man's life this week, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Max Kitchener performed CPR on a tourist who had collapsed at Main Street and Victoria Drive on Wednesday evening, according to the Times. An advertising rep from the newspaper was on the scene and helped check the man's pulse.
The 16-year-old student, who works at nearby , told the Times he learned his rescue skills through Dunedin High's Academy of Architectural Design & Building Technologies.
