A wooden fence, a few picnic tables and a bicycle are the only casualties after an SUV plowed through the outdoor seating area at Skip's Bar late Thursday.

A wooden fence, a few picnic tables and a bicycle are the only casualties after an SUV plowed through the outdoor seating area at Skip's Bar & Grill late Thursday.

A handful of patrons and employees narrowly missed injury.

Donna Jean Wallace, 50, of nearby Wood Street, got into her red Jeep, which was parked on Main Street just outside Skip's, at around 11:45 pm., according to witnesses.

When she started the ignition, instead of backing up, she jumped the curb and accelerated, crashing through a wooden fence and several picnic tables, just missing the building.

Dunedin Fire Department and Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies responded.

No one received medical treatment for injuries.

Wallace was charged with misdemeanor DUI.
