Citizens Invited to Share Views of Community Needs at Public Hearing

Pinellas County is planning a public hearing to obtain citizens' views on housing and community development needs.

The following is a press release from the County of Pinellas: 


Pinellas County is in the process of developing its Annual Action Plan for fiscal year 2014-2015 for the Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant, and HOME Investment Partnership programs.

 

A public hearing to obtain citizens’ views on housing and community development needs, and on the review of 2012-2013 program performance for the programs will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m. in the Health and Community Services Department, Community Revitalization Division Conference Room, eight floor, Bank of America Building, 600 Cleveland St., Suite 800, Clearwater.

The County CDBG Program Area includes all unincorporated areas of Pinellas County and the municipalities of Belleair, Belleair Beach, Belleair Bluffs, Dunedin, Gulfport, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Kenneth City, Madeira Beach, North Redington Beach, Oldsmar, Pinellas Park, Redington Beach, Redington Shores, Safety Harbor, St. Pete Beach, Seminole, South Pasadena, Tarpon Springs and Treasure Island.

The HOME Investment Partnership Program Area includes these municipalities plus the city of Largo.

 

The ESG Program Area is all of Pinellas County except the City of St. Petersburg (which also receives ESG funds).

 

Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at these hearings, they will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
