Clerk Cuts Hours; Other County Offices Consolidate

The Clerk of Court reduces hours starting July 1 and the Pinellas County Planning Department, the Pinellas Planning Council and the Metropolitan Planning Organization are moving into the Pinellas County Courthouse Complex.

Because of budget cuts the Office of the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court is reducing hours starting July 1.

The offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. 

Anyone requiring assistance with an emergency injunction or similar circumstances can call 727-464-3341 for assistance.

Other changes are also being made at county offices downtown.

The Pinellas County Planning Department, the Pinellas Planning Council and the Metropolitan Planning Organization, will be moving offices from the Bank of America building, 600 Cleveland St. to new accommodations at 310 Court St. within the Pinellas County Courthouse complex in downtown Clearwater.

The moves will take place during the week of June 25-29. Phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same. Call the Planning Department’s main number at 727-464-8200 or the Pinellas Planning Council at 727-464-8250 to find out the status of the moves during the week. 

This relocation comes as part of Pinellas County’s ongoing plan to shift county offices from leased spaces to county-owned buildings and in anticipation of the proposed unification of the Metroplitan Planning Organization and the Pinellas Planning Council.
