Main Street to Briefly Close Downtown Sunday Morning
In order for a film production company to shoot video to promote downtown Dunedin, Main Street will temporarily close Sunday morning.
Local residents know how cool downtown Dunedin is. So in an effort to promote the area, the city will shut down Main St. For a few hours.
Sunday morning Main St. will be closed from 7-10 a.m. Sunday morning, Oct. 23, between Broadway and Douglas Ave. so a video production company can shoot a promotional video.
The closing was requested by Kathy Carlson who owns Kelly's, 319 Main St.

Park of the road closure is also to allow a video to be shot to promote the 20th anniversary of Dunedin's Wines the Blues Fest.
The city calculated it would cost $554 in equipment and overtime to set up the road closure, which Carlson said she would reimburse the city with.
