Reminder: Pinellas County Offices Closed Thursday, Friday; Parks Open Thursday

Government offices will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The following is a news release from the County of Pinellas: 


Pinellas County government offices will close on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of Thanksgiving.

 

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session, except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

The Solid Waste Administration Building and HEC3 will be closed on both Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. The scalehouse/landfill will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, but will be open and resume regular hours onFriday, Nov. 29.

Pinellas County parks will be open Thursday, Nov. 28. The administrative offices of Parks and Conservation Resources will be closed on both Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. Pinellas County regional parks, with the exception of Fort De Soto, will be closed on Friday, Nov. 29. County boat ramps and county beach access areas will remain open.

 

The Environmental Education Center at Brooker Creek Preserve, the Cultural and Natural History Center at Weedon Island Preserve and Heritage Village will be closed on both Thursday Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.

 

The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed on both Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29

 

All Pinellas County facilities will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Dec. 2.
