Show Us Your Election Bling

Creative campaign swag is catching eyes where ever you look on the political landscape (locally or nationally) this election season. Show us yours!

Democrats, Republicans, local races to national races: as election day grows near, supporters of all leanings are literally wearing their ideology on their sleeve in the most creative ways.

From buttons to funny hats, how do you show support for your candidate?

We want to see your election bling! Click the "Upload Your Photos and Videos" button that accompanies this story to share yours with everyone.

Got pics of your political buttons, from 2012 or from elections past? Have photos of your yard signs, bumper stickers or posters supporting your favorite candidate? Show them off here!

Full disclosure: We've posted this story on all 23 of our Patch sites across the Tampa Bay area because we want to see all our neighbors and communities represented, including local candidates as well as state and national.

And also: We realize this gallery started out a little GOP-heavy, simply because of the Republican National Convention coming to Tampa last month and all the GOP candidate stumping that has followed. We want to see some Democrats and independents represented too, so let's see what you've got!

Realities directly related to this election came down on me that have found me more busy than I am comfortable with. Getting involved brings a citizen to first time encounters, using photos and logos as in:

With our nations' urgent need to overhaul the health care system and each persons' need to deal withRead More increasing health care costs/decreasing quality of care, volunteering for SHINE could be part of the answer. The more you know, the better equipped you are to make postive changes for yourself and others. If, like me, you feel frustrated with the FL Legislature which seems to be working against us rather than for us; volunteering with organizations that educate the public in essential areas of concern can be an effective way to create grassroots changes. SHINE offers exceptional training and effectively updates it's volunteers regarding changes in the healthcare system. Sign up for thier training and you're sure to want to pass on what you learn to others.
