Motorists should expect detours around Douglas Avenue at Skinner Boulevard for several months, the city says.
Crews are replacing a 1,500 foot stretch of water main under Douglas Avenue between Skinner Boulevard and Virginia Lane requiring excavation and restoration of the roadway and driveway pavement, concrete and brick sidewalks, and sodding, according to the city website.
