1.) Cottage by the Sea: Just a block away from the Gulf and the Pinellas bike trail, this two-bedroom cottage offers both the opportunity for active pursuits or for simply enjoying quiet time on the screened-in lanai. Rent is $1,900 and includes all utilities. The cottage is available beginning in May.

2.) Scotland Street: This sweet little 900-square-foot cottage is located in downtown Dunedin, an easy stroll through the quaint shops and restaurants of Old Town. It has two bedrooms, one bath and a large laundry room. The house is shaded by a 300-year-old oak tree. Rent is $1,300, including utilities.

3.) Waterside Cottage: If you've got the money for a $3,000 monthly rental, this waterside cottage might be just what you're looking for. The word "cottage" may be an understatement for this lovely home. Here's the partial description: "The house faces west and overlooks Saint Joseph's Sound and Dr. Beach''s 2008 pick for the most beautiful beach in the country, Caladesi Island State Park." It's part of a private estate on the prestigious Victoria Drive in historic Dunedin. Rent is $200 per night in May and $3,000 monthly beginning in June.

4.) Santa Anna Drive: Location is key for this turnkey furnished home, available for shorter stays. The house is three blocks from the water and about the same distance from the Pinellas bike trail. It's available for $1,600 monthly for July, August and September.
