A Brush with History: An Evening with Christopher Still

Artist Christopher M. Still will give a lecture on his recent work: eight 5-by-10-foot murals depicting the history of the State of Florida from the Stone Age to the space age, which are on display in the Florida House of Representatives Chambers.

Still of Dunedin was named Florida Artist of the Year and inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame last year. He studied traditional techniques in Florence, Italy. Some of his work is at the Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach and at the Tampa International Airport, and it's even appeared in the Smithsonian Institute. Representative and former Dunedin Mayor Tom Anderson and the Dunedin Friends of the Library host the event.
