Workshop: Energy Reduction Tips from Pinellas County Extension

From a Pinellas County government news release:


Learn how to save energy and money with some help from the Pinellas County Extension during energy action month. During a series of hour-long classes, participants can learn the best way to achieve energy efficiency in their homes, how to spend less on their power bills and how to save energy without sacrificing comfort. Topics will include lighting choices, phantom energy loss, maintaining appliances and weatherization.


Participants can register by visiting www.pinellascountyextension.org and clicking on the Sustainable Living link under the programs by department tab or by calling (727) 582-2100. Registered participants will receive an advanced energy efficiency kit containing materials and devices to help make energy decisions and changes in their homes.
