First Day of School is One Month Away

The first day of school in Pinellas County is Monday, Aug. 22. Here's what you need to know.

Attention Dunedin parents: the clock is ticking toward the new school year. One month from today on Aug. 22, your child will be back in school. We've made it easy for you to get ready for the 2011-2012 school year. Here are five important things you need to know.

1) School Bell Times:

  • High Schools- Start: 7:05 a.m., End (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri): 1:50 p.m., End (Wed): 12:35 p.m.
  • Middle Schools- Start: 9:30 a.m., End (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri): 4:15 p.m., End (Wed): 3:00 p.m.
  • Elementary Schools- Start: 8:35 a.m., End (Mon. Tue, Thu, Fri): 2:50 p.m., End (Wed): 1:35 p.m.
