Pinellas County Kids Go Back To School: What to Know
The first day of school is less than a month away.

While there's still plenty of time for beach days and bike rides, the new school year is just on the horizon.
The first day of school in Pinellas County will be Monday, Aug. 19. All students will return to school on this day and classes will begin, according to the school district's 2013-2014 school calendar.

Students get their first break on Monday, Sept. 2 when school closes for the Labor Day holiday.
