D-Jays Outfielder Named Florida State League Player of the Week

Brad Glenn's bat commands attention for week of May 9 through 15.

Dunedin Blue Jays outfielder Brad Glenn was just named The Florida State League’s player of the week of May 9 through 15.

Glenn of Tulsa, Okla., hit his against the Jupiter Hammerheads. He’s now tied with Kyle Jensen of the Jupiter Hammerheads for the league leader in home runs, according to FSL stats.

In the past seven games, Glenn has accumulated an impressive 14 hits in 28 at bats — a .500 batting average. He’s also knocked five home runs, three doubles and 11 RBIs, giving him a slugging average of 1.143, according to a May 18 Dunedin Blue Jays press release. In that time, he’s also scored nine runs and has an .517 on-base percentage.

Glenn was at Arizona before being picked up by the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He has been playing professionally for three years.
