The D-Jays defeated the Brevard County Manatees 10-8 Friday evening (June 10).
The 3 hour and 20 minute marathon, saw six wind-aided extra base hits in the first inning. The Jays were able to rally from five runs behind for the victory.
The teams combined for 25 hits, 11 extra base hits and four home runs.

A pair of D-Jays — Brian Van Kirk and Kevin Nolan — hit their first home-runs of the season. Nolan continues to impress, going 3-5 with a stolen base. This is Nolan's third start at shortstop after arriving from Lansing five games ago.

The Brewers selected the London, Ontario-native in the 34th round of the 2005 First Year Player Draft as a pitcher. In 2008 he was converted to a positional player.
Kjeldgaard hit .245 with the Manatees in 2010, and this year he is a two-time Florida State League Player of the Week. The centerfielder has four multi-homer games and tonight he hit his 16th along with a triple and single.
The Jays will begin a three-game series with the Tampa Yankees today (June 11). First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
