Dunedin High School Wrestler is a National Champion
Three wrestling standouts for Dunedin competed in a national competition in Missouri recently and one young man came away with a national title and made school history.
Dunedin is building quite the wrestling program under coach Marc Allison. It seems the wrestlers on his team are becoming national stars.
Competing at the Brute Addidas nationals in suburban Kansas City, Mo., Clarence Arrington, a junior, wrestling at the 133-pound class, ripped through the tournament undefeated and was crowned Addidas national champion.
As a result, Arrington became the first national wrestling champion in Dunedin's 50-year history of wrestling.

The Falcons had other wrestlers who shined in the tournament. Kyle Goodnow, a senior, finished fourth in his 174-pound class. Alex Lehbar, a junior, placed fifth in the 143-pound division.
Both Arrington and Goodnow earlier this year won state titles at the Florida High School Athletic Association wrestling tournament.
