32nd Annual Kiwanis Morton Plant Mease Midnight Run

The Midnight Run raises money for the Kiwanis Clubs of Dunedin and Countryside to continue their work with the youth, disabled, elderly and needy in the community. Previous Midnight Runs have raised more than $560,000.

9:30pm - Race-night registration begins in front of the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch office at the plaza. The 5K and 10K events will be recorded through timing chips. No dogs, skates, or in-line skates, please. Strollers will be allowed at the rear.

11pm - The 1-Mile Run/Walk begins. Timing ends at 11:20pm.

11:25pm - The 5K Run begins. Timing ends at 12:10am Monday.

12:15am - The 10K Midnight Run begins, entering 2.5 miles from the start. Timing ends at 1:30pm.

Age divisions range from 9 and under through 70 and over for the 5K, and 13 and under through 70 and over for the 10K.

The top five male and female finishers in each age division for the 5K and 10K will receive commemorative plaques. So will the top five male and female finishers in the 1-mile run/walk.

All registered runners will receive commemorative T-shirts.

Race-night registration is $15 and up per event. Early registration is discounted. Visit the event's Web site for more information.
