Donoghue Dunedin Toastmasters International Speech Contest

Donoghue-Dunedin Toastmasters joins more than 12,500 Toastmasters clubs from around the world participating in the 2012 Toastmasters International Speech Contest this month. It is the world’s largest speech contest, with more than 30,000 presenters in 113 countries vying to become the next World Champion of Public Speaking.

The contest is Tuesday, February 7, 2012 and is free and open to the public.  Join us at the Unity Church of Dunedin, 1315 Bayshore Blvd., Dunedin. Local Toastmasters Club members will participate in the event, with the winner going on to the Toastmasters Area Level and up the ranks further with the possibility of eventually participating on the international level.Eighty-two district semifinalists compete during the four-day Toastmasters International Convention. where the winner is crowned the Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking.
