Dunedin Blue Jays vs. Tampa Yankees - "Fight for a Cure Night"

The Dunedin Blue Jays go back up against the Tampa Yankees, for a cause.

"Fight for a Cure Night," in association with the American Cancer Society and Florida Blood Services, honors cancer patients, survivors, and their families -- and acts as a fund-raiser.

The Jays will donate 1,000 game tickets to cancer patients, survivors and their families. (For more information, call 727-738-7052 or click here to download an RSVP form for tickets.)  Patients and survivors will be welcomed onto the field at 5:30pm for the pre-game festivities.

The Florida Blood Services Blood Mobile will be on site from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Fans who donate blood will receive a free ticket into the game along with a Blue Jays bobblehead.

The game begins at 6pm. The Jays players will wear commemorative purple jerseys to be raffled off after the game for fans to take home. Raffle tickets cost $20 each and can be purchased at the box office or by calling 727-738-7052.

In addition, tonight features the regular "Junior Jays Saturday" promotionof a free hot dog, soft drink, and popcorn for Junior Jays season ticket holders.
